It's a book centring around the dual philosophies of being a Dominant or being a Submissive. I'm reading it to understand more how these people think, since I don't agree with much of it. As they say, if you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.
I'm surprised it's taking you so long to understand, even if you don't share their philosophy.
